3 Days Tour Itinerary to Akagera National Park Rwanda - Africa

Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park
On arrival at the Kigali Airport, our tour guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the east of Rwanda – the Akagera National park. The park borders with Tanzania, with beautiful undulating plains,  dense broad-leafed woodland, lighter acacia woodland and rolling grassland with an extensive series of lakes surrounded  by papyrus swamps forming a sprawling wetland. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge

Day 2: Game drives and boat trip on Lake Ihema
After a cup of tea undertake a morning game drive in Akagera national park in search of hippos, elephants, buffalos, giraffe, hyenas, crocodiles, different bird species, etc. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast, and later go for a canoe ride on Lake Ihema in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge

Day 3: Departure
Take an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for your breakfast before driving back to Kigali.
