Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
On arrival to Kigali, you will meet a representative from Africa Adventure Tours who will transfer you to a hotel of your choice. Dinner and overnight at Milles Collines or similar other (FB)
Day 2: Transfer to Parc des Volcans de Rwanda
After breakfast our tour guide will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. Dinner and overnight at Gorillas Nest Lodge (FB)
Day 3: Mountain Gorilla trekking
After an early morning breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing from the game rangers. Begin trekking the mountain gorillas at 08.30 am local time. Encountering the mountain gorillas may take you between 1 to 6 hours depending on their movement in the jungle. After tracking proceed to Lake Kivu.
Dinner and overnight at Kivu Sun Hotel or similar other (FB)
Day 4: Lake Kivu Launch Cruise
After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat ride on the lake. You will be able to see some water mammals and birds. The spectacular active Nyiragongo Volcano in the background offers a spectacular view of Lake Kivu. After Lunch return to Kigali preparing for your flight back home.
